Current Projects
Right now, Keren is exploring the possibilities of being an adult and artist in the real world. She is spending her free time working on a play about neurodivergence, mental health, and her personal experience with PTSD.
Past Projects
Getting through high school with good grades. Yes, most people manage to do that, but high school is hard and doing well, or even making it through, still feels like a feat four years later.
Surviving college. Seem silly? Read the above paragraph.
About Me
Keren Gorman is a recent graduate from American University with a degree in Musical Theatre Performance. She is currently based in DC.
She fell in love with theatre at the age of four when she was allowed onstage for the first time and has wanted to be in theatre ever since. While she enjoys working behind the scenes on tech (and is frequently found there) and she loves taking advantage of any opportunity to devise, write, or direct. However, performing continues to be her first love and the stage will always be her happy place.
The daughter of two rabbis, Keren has a deep connection with religion and regularly likes to analyze, critique, and satirize it. She is a massive bookworm and daydreamer, she always has a story on her mind.
Keren can often be found thinking about the characters she wants to play and the plays she wants to direct or write, or rereading her favorite books (Percy Jackson anyone?)
